The July Society is a digital co-working community, facilitating the focus, connection and enrichment of our members.

We are not a women-only club! We welcome everyone and encourage them to find focus, productivity and community within July Society, no matter their gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, size, nationality, sexual orientation, ability level, neurotype, etc.

Definitely not. We have members from all over the world, joining from both their homes and offices, as a way to gain structure and connection.
Our members work in a variety of different fields, from government and advertising, to art and literature, to parenting and science. This is a space for everyone to gain productivity.

Officially, no. Our offering is 100% virtual, meaning all events take place in an online space.
Unofficially, however, many members of our community have met IRL, and have even traveled the world together!

Nope! You can come and go as you like. Members join our sessions with their camera off and mic muted, as to not disrupt the Session.

Our Peer Sprints Zoom is available to you at any time, no matter your time zone, as is our Slack! We have members from all over the world, joining whenever they are able.

Peer Sprints take place in an un-hosted Zoom, where there is less structure but still plenty of support from other Society members.
Another way we refer to this is "body doubling" - sometimes you just need to drop a task in the chat to actually do it.

Yes! Slack is a messaging app, available for desktop and mobile, where our community lives online. Slack allows us to organize conversations by topic, post updates to the community and access connection 24/7.

Yes! Zoom is a video and audio meeting app, available on desktop and mobile, that allows us to connect in real-time!

Absolutely not! We want you to join as you are, and as you are most comfortable. We do, however, encourage joining with video, as it creates more accountability and connection within the community.

Audio is not necessary, as all members are muted during worksprints. However, if you would like to hear the music, chat with the host, etc, you will need to connect to audio.
Know that you can join or leave audio at any time.

Yes! July Society is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible. When making a one-time donation, you'll receive a transaction receipt.
For recurring donations, you will receive a receipt each time your payment is processed.

You'll have unlimited access to our online community, both in our Slack space and in our hosted and peer-led Zoom spaces, in addition to exclusive member-only events.

At this time, we are not offering trial memberships.
However, we occasionally livestream a bonus Focus Session to our YouTube Channel, so you can experience one of our Focus Sessions without the Commitment! Subscribe to our newsletter below to get alerted to the next livestream!

We know financial situations can be fluid, which is why July Society is proud to offer membership assistance! Learn more about our Community-Supported Membership.

We are unable to pause memberships at this time. If you are interested in continuing your membership, but have a financial barrier, we'd be happy to offer you a Community-Supported Membership.

You may cancel your membership at anytime by logging into your account at the top of this page. Your membership will end immediately, and you will be removed from our Slack community.

At this time, we are only offering our Monthly Membership.

No, membership dues are not tax deductible at this time, as 100% of the dues go to operating costs.
